Help pay for Fr. Kenneth Walker’s funeral expenses

Fr. Walker

Fr. Kenneth Walker, FSSP, was murdered on June 11, 2014 at the Rectory of Mater Misericordiae Parish in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served as assistant priest.  Fr. Joseph Terra was also critically injured in the assault.

Fr. Walker comes from a large family.  So, the travel expenses will be a great financial burden on them.

Click HERE to make a contribution to Fr. Walker’s funeral expenses fund.

All contributions that exceed expenses will be donated to The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP.)

We pray that God, the Creator and Redeemer will grant eternal rest to Fr. Walker, consolation to his family, consolation and recovery to Fr. Terra and consolation to the priests and parishioners of The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.

  1. Perhaps the church should use the money being spent in giving aid to illegals crossing the border used instead for the burial of the priest.

  2. I think the money is to help his family attend his funeral.

  4. I did not men to be insulting. I am Catholic and getting a bit tired of my donations going everywhere but to church business.
Our parish priest in fact during a time of financial stress donated over a $1,000.00 to United Way from our tithing. That angers me for they are a secular group that in fact pays its CEO over $300,000.00 a year plus perks. Our seminaries and the poor in the parish would be better served if money given to them instead.

    • I agree about United Way. They don’t manage the donation properly.

      • What really bothers me is that we get church envelopes and diocese mailing for donations for Catholic Charities, Seminarians, our school all the while our priest takes donations from our tithing and gives it to a secular organization. If he wants to give, fine….then give out of his own pocket, not ours.
