Letter to Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Inviting Clergy to the 9/11 Ceremony

Below is our letter sent to Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg requesting clergy be invited to the ceremony for the 10th anniversary of 9/11:

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg
City Hall
New York, NY 10007

September 9, 2011

Dear Mayor Bloomberg,

Please invite clergy to the ceremony for 10th anniversary of 9/11 and allow them time to offer prayers.

Though some clergymen have said they do not take offense to being excluded.  It is only the humble nature of a clergyman to avoid imposing himself on another for an invitation.  Please extend invitations to our shepherds on this very holy day.

I have heard clergymen state that you are a good and kind man.  Please extend them this kindness.

God bless you and kind regards,
